About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Equans, providing maintenance services at fire stations across Merseyside. This role involves delivering electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance, as well as scheduled installation works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager
  • Delivering electrical and mechanical maintenance and installation works
  • Applying trade skills to allocated jobs as directed
  • Ordering materials and services as required and updating records
  • Integrating with mechanical engineering and fabric maintenance functions, including contractors
  • Overseeing specialist sub-contractors
  • Covering for other technicians as necessary in various buildings

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a recognised Electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline, with suitable industry experience. You must also hold a current and valid driving licence and have experience of building services/maintenance.
