Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex, data-driven gameplay systems, leveraging your expertise to elevate quality standards and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop captivating gameplay features and mechanics, ensuring seamless integration and a polished player experience.
  • Take ownership of substantial bodies of work, operating with minimal supervision and delivering results autonomously, while maintaining high standards of code quality and adhering to all guidelines.
  • Support junior colleagues, mentoring and guiding them to ensure consistent production of high-quality code across the team.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the success of our projects and the growth of our team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a Senior/Principal Gameplay Engineer on one or more console/PC titles.
  • Excellent C++ skills, including profiling, debugging, and optimizing code.
  • Solid understanding of code architecture best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and meet scheduled goals.
  • Work effectively and independently with minimal guidance and support.
  • Passion for gaming and game development.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 on a AAA title.
Desirable Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience mentoring other Engineers.
  • Experience working on current generation consoles.
  • Familiarity with building data-driven and scalable gameplay features.
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming.
