Lift Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join our team at REClifts. As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of various types of lifts and lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on lifts and lifting equipment
  • Report any defects or issues to ensure improvements in lift safety and efficiency
  • Complete maintenance schedules in accordance with agreed service contracts
  • Manage your own service route efficiently and complete minor repairs on passenger lifts
  • Participate in callout rota as required
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Lift Engineer, with a focus on passenger lifts
  • Qualified NVQ 3 in lift engineering discipline (service or installation)
  • UK driving license
  • Ability to live within a commutable distance of Central Birmingham or willingness to relocate
