We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Client Funds Officer to join our dedicated Client Funds Team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our clients who have been assessed as lacking the capacity to manage their own property and financial affairs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert financial and administrative support to clients, ensuring their financial needs are met and their money is used to give them the best possible quality of life.
- Collaborate with the Client Funds Team to gather complex financial and non-financial information to support applications for benefits, applications to Court, and annual reporting to the Office of the Public Guardian.
- Develop and implement sound financial plans, monitoring client budgets and safeguarding future financial needs.
- Travel throughout the county to meetings with clients, other council representatives, and outside organisations as required.
- Ensure compliance with national legislation, policies, and guidance related to welfare benefits and financial planning.
