Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Engineer to join our team in Manchester or Bristol. As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for applying core fire engineering principles, regulatory frameworks, codes, and standards on fire safety design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fire Safety Design: Apply core fire engineering principles, regulatory frameworks, codes, and standards on fire safety design projects.
  • Technical Development: Develop peripheral core technical knowledge, e.g., product knowledge and testing standards through observation, shadowing of more senior engineers, and self-development.
  • Site Visits and Client Meetings: Conduct site visits and client/project team meetings to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Solution Development: Put forward solutions based on codes, standards, technical evidence, and previous work/case studies.
  • Project Management: Project manage small schemes from inception to completion, including the preparation of fee proposals.
  • Fee Proposal Development: Develop detailed fee proposals on complex projects.
