Production Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of customer products on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate production activities to meet customer demands.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Liaise with operations delivery teams to ensure production plans are understood and communicated effectively.
  • Monitor job status and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure system compliance and current build status.
  • Liaise with finance teams to support end of month cycle counting, WIP reporting, and material audits.

Requirements:

  • Experience with MRP requirements and order placement.
  • Ability to work closely with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • SC Clearance is required for this role.
