Veterinary Nurse

About the Role:
This is a Full Time position with just 1 in 4 weekends working Saturday 9am-6pm, no OOHs. Responsibilities include conducting treatments as per the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 Schedule 3 procedures, such as taking X-rays and assisting with other diagnostic procedures, anaesthesia, assisting the veterinary surgeon with surgeries, and providing post-operative care. You will also triage patients for the attention of the veterinary surgeon, dispense drugs in accordance with professional guidelines and surgery rules, and maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical records.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting treatments as per the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 Schedule 3 procedures
Assisting with other diagnostic procedures, anaesthesia, and surgeries
Providing post-operative care
Triage patients for the attention of the veterinary surgeon
Dispensing drugs in accordance with professional guidelines and surgery rules
