Maintenance and Support Specialist for Flight Simulators

L3Harris Technologies seeks a skilled Maintenance and Support Specialist for Flight Simulators to join our team. As a member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of a range of Full Flight Simulators and Lower Level training devices.

Job Responsibilities:
This role involves performing/supporting scheduled simulator maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving electrical/software and hardware defects, installing software/hardware updates and recording update testing, maintaining the Simulator Software Configuration Management System, coaching less experienced staff members, flying simulators for testing/approved visits and demonstrations, and providing 'Advice and Assistance' in all areas of maintenance and support of the simulator to ensure maximum available training time is achieved. This role requires considerable customer contact as well as interfacing with relevant Training Services management teams and industry regulators. The estimated salary for this position is around £45,000-£60,000 depending on experience and location.
Requirements: You will need flight or aircraft maintenance experience, proven electrical, electronic, and mechanical theoretical knowledge supplemented with practical systems experience, aircraft systems experience, understanding of Windows operating systems, and an equal opportunities employer commitment to the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees.
