Job Title: Senior Rail Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rail Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our Rail Division, you will be responsible for leading the technical design and delivery of multiple rail projects concurrently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design and delivery of multiple rail projects concurrently.
  • Undertake the role of Rail Discipline Manager or Rail Discipline Director as needed.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management, guidance, and training of staff while delivering your projects.
  • Manage the preparation of calculations, drawings, and other project documents, ensuring quality and control.
  • Engage with clients on proposals, project progress, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with your projects to maintain agreed standards.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of UK rail standards and design experience on rail projects above £5M construction value.
  • Detailed technical skills across key areas of civil rail design, such as structures.
  • Experience working with key stakeholders within the rail sector.
