About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team at Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC). As a key member of our internal audit department, you will be responsible for delivering full end-to-end audits across the business.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in internal audit, with experience of delivering audits in line with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing internal audit scopes, test plans, and audit reports.
  • Supporting the production of regular committee and integrated assurance reports.
  • Contributing to the development of the PIC IA manual.
Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering internal audits, including developing scope, carrying out test plan, drafting audit reports, and documenting the audit work consistently with IIA standards.
  • Demonstrating good practice and standards of internal audit, making recommendations for improvement, and contributing to the development of the PIC IA manual.
  • Preparing internal audit status update reports and integrated assurance reports to management and Board committees.
  • Producing the annual written assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of PIC's risk management, internal control, and governance processes and systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in internal audit, with experience of delivering audits in line with IIA standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in report writing and verbal.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and be an ambassador of PIC Internal Audit.
  • Experience of working collaboratively to deliver a 'no surprises' audit approach.
  • Knowledge of internal control and governance processes and systems.
  • Willingness to learn, understand the business, and internal audit.
