KS1 Teaching Assistant

Reed Education is assisting a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry school in Smethwick, Birmingham, in their search for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team and contribute to teaching in KS1.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of the KS1 Curriculum with up-to-date knowledge and practices.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve individual and whole school targets.
- Maintain high expectations for oneself and others, ensuring all children make good progress from their starting points.
- Foster and nurture positive relationships with all pupils and commit to inclusive practice for all.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- A Teaching Assistant qualification level 3 or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge across EYFS and KS1.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.

- Children who are happy, keen, and eager to learn.
- A fully supportive and professional governing body.
This role is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016), and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
