Job Summary: We are seeking a temporary parts delivery driver to support our client in a busy dealership environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer handling skills, a clean driving license, and the ability to work independently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collect authorized signatures and printed names from customers for all parts delivered and ensure that receipts or payments are received.
  • Verify that all parts delivered match with the customer invoice.
  • Plan the most direct routes to meet customer requirements.
  • Report any accidents or incidents immediately to the direct line manager.
  • Ensure that vans are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
  • Adhere to manual handling guidelines.
  • Use personal protective equipment correctly and store it properly.

Requirements:

  • A current and full clean driving license.
  • Excellent customer handling skills - able to build strong relationships.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a small team, as well as on own initiative.
  • Knowledge of the local area.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Honest disposition due to cash handling responsibilities.
