HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Staffline Driving Careers. As a HGV Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle safely and responsibly
  • Meet customer service standards and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and staff to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Valid CPC and DIGI card
  • No more than 6 points on your driving license
  • Good geographical knowledge and ability to navigate
  • Minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience

Benefits:

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work available. Day start times between 00:00 - 03:00, with multi-drop work up to 5 drops per day.

Pay Rates:

- £16 Flat rate days P/H

- £19 Saturday P/H

- £20 Sunday P/H

Our Perfect Worker:

We are looking for a Class 1 driver with a minimum of 6 months experience, who is able to work safely and efficiently. You will need to have a valid CPC and DIGI card, and no more than 6 points on your driving license. Good geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate are also essential.
