**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chair to lead our Board of Trustees and drive the strategic direction of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. As a visionary leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization and ensuring the long-term success of our mission.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Board of Trustees, ensuring effective governance and decision-making.
  • Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to develop and implement the Trust's strategic plan, aligning with our mission and values.
  • Lead the Board in fulfilling its fiduciary duties and responsibilities, ensuring the Trust's financial stability and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to drive organizational growth, innovation, and impact.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, and the wider community.

**Requirements**

  • Proven track record of leadership and governance experience, preferably in a non-profit or charitable organization.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive innovation and growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
