Harrow, United Kingdom Teach Now Full time
Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As an SEN TA with a specialism in SEMH needs, you will play a vital role in supporting children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

About the Role: The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will work closely with teachers to assist students with a range of SEMH challenges, providing both academic and emotional support to help them overcome their difficulties.

What You Will Do: Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs. This may involve adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles, creating engaging lesson plans, and developing strategies to promote positive behaviour and well-being. You will also contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You should have experience working with children with SEMH needs and be confident in your ability to adapt to changing situations. A relevant qualification in education or a related field is desirable, but not essential.

Benefits: As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of £85-£100 per day, plus benefits that include professional development opportunities, a supportive working environment, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
