About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride.
- Bake in waves for scratch products to ensure customers receive fresh products throughout the day, minimizing waste and maintaining quality.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Adhere to all food hygiene, safety, and allergen guidelines at all times.
- Be knowledgeable about products and services within the department and store.
- Proactively check emergency stop buttons and machinery before operation, reporting any issues to the Shift Leader/Team Manager.
- Dispose of waste responsibly, following food waste and recycling routines.
- Be knowledgeable about store performance, understanding your part and what's needed to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
- Be yourself, live our values, make everyone feel welcome, and follow our policies.
- Work across the store in service, picking, and replenishment areas as required.
