The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with the organisation's overall objectives and goals. They will analyse market trends, supply chain risks and opportunities to optimise procurement processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and align procurement activities accordingly.

The key tasks of this role include negotiating prices, terms and conditions with suppliers to drive a commercial benefit to the business, continuing to seek new supplier opportunities both home and abroad, and purchasing items to an agreed specification from approved suppliers.
