Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Zone Profit Manager to join our team at JD Sports. As a key member of our profit protection department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of security and loss prevention across our retail stores.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a highly visible presence within designated areas to deter potential thieves;
  • Staying up-to-date with local priority criminal offenders and attending crime briefings to gather intelligence;
  • Conducting regular security checklists and providing feedback to managers on compliance and its impact on loss;
  • Supporting and training managers and store personnel on security-related issues;
  • Ensuring the adequate protection of company property, including buildings and stock;
  • Liaising with external investigation agencies as necessary;
  • Operating with total discretion and confidentiality in all duties performed;
Key Responsibilities

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also:

  • Prioritise workload to ensure reports and investigations are completed within deadlines;
  • Install and assist with the installation of covert/overt CCTV systems as required;
  • Maintain security-related equipment supplied to themselves and stores;
  • Utilise Crime Partnerships, BIDs, and shared security services to deliver value for money;
  • Complete any other ad hoc tasks set by the Territory Profit Protection Manager.
