Apprentice Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic engineering company based in Long Eaton.

Job Summary

This is a 42-month apprenticeship opportunity that will provide you with the skills and knowledge to become a qualified machinist. As a machinist, you will be responsible for setting and programming machinery and equipment, meeting quality standards, and achieving production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting and programming machinery and equipment
  • Meeting quality standards and procedures
  • Achieving production requirements and scheduling

Requirements

  • Good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • An interest in engineering
  • Maths/Science or engineering A level/T Level/BTEC or equivalent

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of A Levels in Maths/Physics/Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 x GCSE's Grade 6 in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent)
  • Level 2 Engineering qualification advantageous but not essential
