Senior Research Lead

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Specialty Lead for our South Central Regional Research Delivery Network. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting the successful delivery of high-quality research in your speciality area.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organization and contribute to the development of research infrastructure in the South Central region. As a Specialty Lead, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our research team, developing and implementing research plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve research goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage research projects in your speciality area, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and industry partners.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to research teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other Specialty Leads to develop and implement research plans, ensuring effective use of resources and expertise.
- Contribute to the development of research infrastructure, including the establishment of research networks and partnerships.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
