Job Opportunity:

We seek a diligent Transport Coordinator to spearhead our transportation and logistics functions, guaranteeing seamless delivery operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This demanding role entails inspecting vehicles and cranes, managing fuel cards and defect reports, and upholding equipment maintenance. The successful candidate will also support sales efforts and foster a collaborative team environment.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate efficient delivery schedules and document management
  • Ensure adherence to UK regulations, vehicle hours, and health and safety standards
  • Manage vehicle and crane inspections, fuel cards, and defect reporting
  • Maintain equipment in pristine condition
  • Contribute to sales initiatives and enhance team performance

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Substantial experience in transportation coordination or logistics, preferably within a similar industry setting
  • Thorough understanding of UK transportation regulations and logistical best practices
  • Familiarity with London's transportation network is beneficial
  • Superior organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to multitask and thrive in high-pressure environments
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and fleet management software is desirable
  • UK driving license is highly advantageous
  • Attention to detail and proactive issue resolution skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
