Worship Ministry Leader

We are seeking a talented and passionate Worship Leader/Singer to join our dynamic team at Christ Exalted Church. As a Worship Leader/Singer, you will play a pivotal role in leading our congregation in heartfelt worship experiences. Your musical abilities, spiritual depth, and leadership skills will inspire and guide our ministry in connecting with God through music.

1. Lead Congregational Singing: Lead our congregation in singing during weekly worship services, special events, and other gatherings.
2. Lead Rehearsals: Lead rehearsals with other musicians and vocalists to ensure a high standard of musical excellence.
3. Foster a Worship Atmosphere: Foster an atmosphere of worship that encourages authenticity, reverence, and connection with God.
4. Collaborate with Ministry Leaders: Work closely with the pastoral team, worship team members, and other ministry leaders to coordinate worship elements with the overall flow of the service.
5. Mentor and Disciple: Mentor and disciple worship team members, helping them grow in their musical skills and spiritual maturity.
6. Personal and Professional Growth: Continuously pursue personal and professional growth in worship leading, music theory, and spiritual formation.
7. Administrative Tasks: Assist in administrative tasks related to worship ministry, including scheduling rehearsals, managing song databases, and coordinating equipment setup and maintenance.

1. Strong Vocal Abilities: Strong vocal abilities and experience in leading congregational singing is essential.
2. Vibrant Personal Relationship: A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a deep understanding of worship as a spiritual discipline.
3. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of musicians and vocalists.
4. Dependability and Punctuality: Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to excellence in all aspects of ministry.
5. Innovative Approach: Innovative and creative approach to worship leading, with a willingness to explore new musical styles and expressions.
6. Servant Heart: A servant heart and a willingness to serve alongside other ministry leaders and volunteers.
7. Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in music, theology, or a related field is preferred but not required. Previous experience in worship ministry or a similar role is highly desirable.
