Apprentice Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Recra Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the engineering team in maintaining all equipment on site, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assist in closing out corrective actions in a timely manner, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
- Provide guidance on Health and Safety procedures, setting a positive example for visitors and contractors.
- Deputise for the Engineering Manager in their absence, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
- Comply with and maintain safe production processes, adhering to food safety and Health and Safety protocols.
- Support routine safety audits and inspections, reporting any near misses or concerns to relevant managers.
- Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance actions daily, ensuring machinery and equipment operate effectively.
- Collaborate with site engineering teams to maintain high standards of operation and maintenance.
- Plan, control, and implement project works within given timescales, utilizing Company software as necessary.
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SAP.
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a 3 On and 2 Off shift pattern. They will be required to work effectively in a team, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
