Job Title: Deputy Team Leader Contract Full Time

At Optima Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Emergency Response Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Emergency Response Team Leader and Head of Clinical Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the Emergency Response Team Leader and Head of Clinical Services
  • Deputise for the Emergency Response Team Leader as required
  • Facilitate clinical education and training needs of clinical staff within Optima Health
  • Assist in developing the Emergency Response strategy onsite
  • Work closely with the Head of Clinical Services and Emergency Response Team Leader to ensure clear clinical governance strategy
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
  • Assist in ensuring a specific competency framework is in place for Emergency Response clinical roles
  • Provide and facilitate education, development, and assessment to the clinical team
  • Identify new training and development needs across the site
  • Monitor and evaluate the delivery of course programmes
Requirements:
  • Must be adaptable and versatile in approach to work and deliverables
  • Must be able to work under pressure with no/minimal supervision
  • Must have maintained a continuous professional development portfolio
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the onsite Emergency Response Team
