Job Role: Teaching Assistant

Overview

The Aurora Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our students in achieving their full potential. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students, promoting their independence, and enhancing their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and facilitate the learning and independence of students.
  • Contribute to planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of education programmes, plans, and reports as required.
  • Participate in assessing, recording, and reporting on young people's progress.
  • Promote and encourage independence at all times.
  • Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Promote the development of positive social behaviors and self-regulation skills.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Ability to build trust with students and work collaboratively with teaching staff.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Competent ICT skills.
