Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced General Practice Associate to provide administrative and clinical support to our clinicians. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team and have a good understanding of clinical terminology.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Provide administrative support to our clinicians, including handling routine administration and basic clinical duties.">
  • Support with review and recall systems for Long Term Condition reviews.">
  • Assist with clinical coding and summarising protocols.">
  • Prepare patients for appointments, explaining treatment procedures and arranging follow-up appointments.">
  • Support clinicians with administrative tasks and input to the clinical computer system.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.">
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment and with the general public.">
  • Proficiency in using SystmOne and/or EMIS.">
  • Certificate qualification as a GP Assistant or willingness to undertake a GPA training course.">
