Role: Video Editor

We're seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team at GMGN Labs, a digital marketing agency specializing in emerging tech and immersive storytelling. As a Video Editor, you'll play a crucial role in translating client messages into compelling visual stories that resonate on social media and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit a variety of video content for clients across entertainment, fashion, e-commerce, tech, gaming, and sports sectors.
  • Work closely with our creative and content teams to create engaging, platform-specific edits for social media, digital campaigns, and web.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's vision and story to translate it into compelling video content.
  • Collaborate with the creative team and other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all video content.
  • Organize and manage video assets, ensuring seamless post-production workflow, from editing to final delivery.
  • Add motion graphics, captions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling, as needed.
  • Stay updated on video trends, techniques, and best practices across different social media and digital platforms.
  • Ensure all videos meet platform-specific requirements in terms of format, resolution, and length.
  • Provide suggestions and creative input during planning phases for future shoots and campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Must be fun & nice - we like fun & nice people.
  • Must be hungry (to learn, progress, and win), not for food - if you're hungry for food, we can send care packages.
  • Must have a keen eye for storytelling through video, with attention to detail and a passion for creating compelling visuals.
  • Experience as a Video Editor or a similar role in a digital marketing agency or production house.
  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other video editing software.
  • Familiarity with video requirements for social media platforms like X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and post-production workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of the creator economy and social media trends.

  • Flexi-hours: Our hours are 9am - 6pm but, providing you're available for calls and meetings as necessary, when you work those is up to you We do ask that you are online and available between 10am - 4pm consistently though.
