Role Purpose - Health Economics, Health Outcomes & Medical Writing Partner - Health Economist

This role is crucial in constructing and delivering HTA submissions that align with our brand and organisational strategy.

You'll work cross-functionally to deliver robust, best-in-class submissions, crafting sound access strategies and bringing in the right cross-functional partners for input at the right time.

As part of empowered, self-managed, multi-skilled teams, you'll utilise your skills and capabilities to coach other colleagues, leveraging your detailed understanding of HEOR in the NHS.

You'll also work collaboratively and share expertise across the organisation to remove silos and duplication, ensuring efficient use of similar skill-sets and ultimately supporting the common pursuit of our North Star.

As a guardian of high standards of compliance, ethics, and safety, you'll put patients at the centre of all actions through consistent business behaviour that complies with applicable laws, industry codes, and Roche's Code of Conduct.

Who You Are

You're a highly experienced Health Economist with extensive HTA submission experience.

You're technically sound, with experience of delivering multiple elements of an HTA submission SLR, NMA, or model, and you mentor and coach others on a regular basis.

You're a self-starter, able to initiate and develop strategies and projects that add value to the organisation, and you bring/have:

  • A first degree in economics, statistics, life sciences, or a related field
  • A post-graduate qualification in health economics or a related field
  • The ability to craft sound national reimbursement strategies, bringing in the right cross-functional partners for input at the right time
  • A detailed understanding of the role of HEOR within the NHS and pharmaceutical industry, including a deep understanding of the methods, processes, and timelines of UK HTA
  • Excellent knowledge, understanding, and application of economic evaluation concepts in HTA submissions
  • High-quality demonstrable technical writing and communication skills

We won't tell you how to behave with detailed competency frameworks; instead, we ask you to bring your differences so we can celebrate a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
