Job Description

**Role:** Windows Client Solutions Engineer

**Location:** Remote (3 days a week)

**Contract Type:** Inside IR35

**Job Description:**

The requirements are:

  • Evaluate, plan, and integrate technical Windows Client solutions to meet business needs.
  • Ensure the security of the Windows Client platform by creating security patching solutions.
  • General, proven experience on engineering positions in an enterprise environment.
  • Very good understanding of Windows Defender Application Guard (WDAC).
  • Very good understanding of Windows clients environment and tools used for its management (Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy).
  • Fluency in Microsoft Defender cloud portal & tools (KQL language).
  • Good command of PowerShell.
  • Good understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Security.

**Experience and Skills:**

Excellent knowledge of Windows Desktop Client Engineering.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy implementation.

Excellent knowledge of managing large-scale Windows deployments.

Sound knowledge of how Windows functions within persistent and non-persistent Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms.

Sound knowledge of Windows Client Operating Systems.

Sound knowledge of Client Desktop Hardware.

Previous experience working in complex infrastructure projects.

A background in the financial industry or similar enterprise environments.

The ability to analyze, explain, and document methodically.
