We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Specialist to join our team at The Recruitment Co.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing product enquiries from internal and external customers, researching product availability, and liaising with buyers to obtain pricing and availability information.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage product enquiries from internal and external customers
* Research product availability using databases and national websites
* Liaise with buyers to obtain pricing and availability information
* Collate responses and respond to query originators
* Manage and maintain databases and spreadsheets
* Own all enquiries from start to finish for designated customers
* Manage cost of goods and payment terms for all products/suppliers
* Obtain quotes and research options for new product requests
* Build and manage supplier relationships
* Place Purchase Orders in accordance with agreed stock policies
* Manage outstanding supplier orders and shipments
* Analyze and review data to resolve issues
* Regularly review cost prices to achieve the most profitable outcome

Requirements:

* High level of perseverance
* Thorough approach with high attention to detail
* High level of computer literacy
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight schedules
* Strong organizational and administration skills
* Ability to take ownership and use initiative
