Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Management
- Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects that Solirius is engaged with.
- Supports and advises on day-to-day activities of the team.
- Facilitates key team events and ceremonies.
- Monitors spend, reports progress, and tracks team velocity.
- Tracks risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Clears hurdles for the team to ensure a clear path for development and delivery.
- Ensures successful collaboration within the team and wider project/programme.
- Works with and engages stakeholders with the delivery team.
- Champions best practice methodologies across the team and each discipline.
- Exemplifies positive customer-focused behaviour.
- Acts as the assignment manager for the Solirius team on the client site.
Account Management
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and delivering value to them.
- Financial management of client accounts.
- Serves as the key point of contact for assigned clients.
- Acts as the client subject matter expert.
- Develops actionable plans to balance clients' short-term and long-term goals.
- Manages and reports on the overall financial success of the account(s) responsible for.
- Resources for client accounts.
- Identifies new opportunities for Solirius to operate in and contribute to bidding for new work.
Specialist Skills Required
We want individuals with:
- A background in Agile Delivery across the whole lifecycle of technical projects/service development.
- A strong experience in Agile scrum methodologies and delivering software in Agile teams.
- Previous experience and/or qualifications as a Scrum Master would be beneficial.
- Experience of Delivery Management in the public sector, in accordance with GDS standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to successfully engage with clients, managers, and stakeholders at all levels within a business.
- Experience of scaled agile methodologies, e.g. SAFe, LeSS, etc.
- Experience in building relationships with people and ensuring delivery of value to clients.
- Agile coaching experience would be helpful.
- Experience of supporting and developing people.
- Self-awareness and high Emotional Intelligence.
- Experience in maintaining and reporting on budgets.
We are looking for experienced Delivery Consultants who have delivered Agile projects. You will need to be a great leader of people, able to motivate and engage people to deliver excellence for our customers. You will need to have experience of working with a wide variety of stakeholders and have experience of delivery projects from inception through to adoption.
In addition to working as a Delivery Consultant, you will also be required to act as an Account Manager and/or Assignment Manager on client accounts.
As part of the Solirius team, you will be responsible for helping us develop the delivery management practice. This will involve attracting other delivery experts/talent to join our team and contribute to bids for new work. We want to create digital services that our clients and their customers prefer to use over other channels, and the delivery practice is fundamental to that desire.
