About the Opportunity

Gleeds is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our team in [location]. This exciting opportunity involves managing costs and budgets of construction projects, from early cost advice to final account settlement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives
  • Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing, and maintaining customer relationships
  • Delivering high-quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet customer requirements
  • Managing projects and delivering high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures
Requirements

We're looking for a skilled professional with sound cost management experience post-MRICS qualification, practical knowledge of cost estimating and planning, and a good understanding of construction methods and materials. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential, as are strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.

Prior experience in construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies, would be advantageous. A clear understanding of legislation impacting building contracts and the ability to work effectively within a team are also required.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £75,000-£90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme, an Employee Assistance Programme, our global travel scholarship programme, and flexible working arrangements.
