Theatre Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Operating Department Practitioner to join our theatre team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
As a Theatre Practitioner, you will work alongside the Anaesthetist or Surgeon to provide first-class patient-centred care. You will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical instruments, equipment, and swabs are available during operations.
Key responsibilities include providing the correct surgical instruments and materials to the surgeon, acting as a link between the surgical team and other parts of the theatre and hospital, and being a responsible and compassionate patient advocate.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in an acute hospital environment, with a strong understanding of professional issues and up-to-date knowledge of clinical governance and risk assessment.
Estimated salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
