Software Development Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team in Witney. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or recent graduate with a passion for coding, software system validation, and technical documentation to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coding and Software Development:
    • Assist in writing, testing, and debugging code for software systems and applications.
    • Collaborate with software engineers and researchers to improve code efficiency and functionality.
    • Contribute to the development and integration of new features into existing systems.
  • Software System Validation:
    • Support the team in the validation and testing of software systems to ensure they meet regulatory standards and functional requirements.
    • Assist in designing and executing test plans, logging results, and reporting any issues.
    • Work on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the validation process.
  • Technical Documentation:
    • Develop and maintain user manuals, technical guides, and training documents for software and hardware systems.
    • Document system configurations, coding procedures, and validation processes.
    • Ensure that all documentation complies with company standards and is easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detailed Paperwork & Reporting:
    • Prepare detailed reports outlining testing processes, validation results, and project milestones.
    • Maintain thorough records of all coding, testing, and validation procedures to ensure full traceability and audit compliance.
    • Organise and archive project documentation for easy access and retrieval.
Requirements:
  • Education: Currently pursuing or recent graduate: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Excellent communication and time management skills.
