About This Role

This position is a unique opportunity to join Magellan Health Services as an Onsite EAP Field Consultant in Lakenheath, England. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing direct support to organizations and their employees through the delivery of assessment, consultation, education, and triage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver assessment and consultation services to address employee concerns and problems, utilizing knowledge of federal regulations to ensure proper handling.
  • Consult with employees and organizations on various workplace and work-based issues, providing clinical expertise to restore employees to healthy functioning.
  • Conduct critical incident response services, EAP assessments, short-term counseling, EAP orientations, customer webinars, critical incident response, and health and wellness trainings.
  • Manage caseloads and tasks, including timely case documentation, to meet quality, qualitative, and quantitative performance expectations.
  • Provide information and referrals to appropriate levels of care and community resources as needed.
  • Participate in activities that improve SBU and/or client performance, excellence, and culture.
  • Analyze and present issues clearly, concisely, and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Develop effective working relationships with peers within and across organizational lines, supporting team members and participating in team activities, including trainings.
  • Take responsibility for personal development, staying current on skills and techniques needed to better serve members and help Magellan achieve its business and operational goals.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience after receiving a graduate degree.
  • Clinical training must include instruction on chemical dependency, mental health, and brief therapy.
  • Understanding of workplace issues, business functions, and fundamental employee/employer relationships.
  • Capability to acquire knowledge of EEO rules, ADA in the workplace, FMLA, and Drug-Free Workplace Requirements.
  • Ability to provide accurate client assessments, including risk level, substance abuse and dependency, job performance issues, and referrals to appropriate care.
  • Crisis intervention competence.
  • Solution-focused, brief therapy expertise in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent training and listening skills.
  • Effective interaction at all levels, both within the company and with external customers.
  • Comfort with new situations and changing priorities.
  • Maintain a positive, achievement-oriented attitude and consistent accomplishment of expected objectives.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on individual skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position may be eligible for short-term incentives.
