Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Technology Teacher to join our team at the Wayman Group. As a Design Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a diverse range of subjects, including product design, resistant materials, and textiles to students in KS3/4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of all learners
  • Evaluate student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of our students
  • Supervise students during practical activities and provide guidance and support to ensure their safety and well-being

Requirements:

  • A degree in Design Technology or a related subject
  • A PGCE or QTS in Design Technology
  • Experience of teaching Design Technology to KS3/4 students
  • The ability to provide a rich, varied, and exciting curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

  • MPS/UPS Salary (M1 to UPS3) £35,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • A full-time Design Technology Teacher position with opportunities for career progression and professional development
