About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills in stock management, inventory control, and customer service. You will be responsible for organizing the goods inward area, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Control all incoming and outgoing goods, including accurate completion of relevant paperwork and system updates
  • Organize and maintain the goods inward area, ensuring it meets business goals
  • Pick and pack orders ready for dispatch, adhering to best practices for stock rotation and identifying slow-moving stock
  • Perform daily general admin tasks, communicate with suppliers as needed, and ensure cleanliness and tidiness of areas
  • Deliver items to customer sites, covering holiday periods and replenishing vending machines
Requirements
  • Fully clean driving license (essential)
  • Minimum 12 months' experience in a warehouse stores/goods inward environment
  • Sound knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft packages, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail
  • Organized, confident, and resilient, with a flexible approach and ability to work unsupervised
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
