About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team at Scottish Borders Council. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide practical and emotional support to empower individuals to live independently
  • Promote the health and well-being of service users and ensure their needs are met in an inclusive way
  • Support and enable service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility
  • Administer medication safely and in accordance with training

Requirements

  • PVG Adults registration
  • SSSC registration
