Job Title: Postperson with Driving

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across our network.

About the Role

This is a permanent contract position, working 30 hours per week, 5 days a week, with shift times between 09:00 and 10:00. You will be required to work Sundays at our Sutton Delivery Office.

As a Postperson with Driving, you will be the face of Royal Mail in your local community, delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers across our network
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Meet and exceed customer service standards

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £14.87. You will also receive:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
  • Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service
  • Upbeat, independent and self-motivated
