About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pink Tile Education Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant in a SEND setting, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual support to students with SEND, promoting their learning and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, using positive behavior management techniques.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote student independence and confidence.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEND or a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, understanding, and confidence in managing challenging behavior.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive school culture.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and ability to work in the UK or hold a relevant work visa.
