We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reporting Actuary to join our team at Arthur Financial in London. This is a newly created role due to a restructure and is a crucial hire for the ongoing performance and growth of our company.
The position will manage a team of actuaries and report to the Chief Actuary. The role will be responsible for monitoring reserves, reserving overview, and SII TPs for both Lloyd's and non-Lloyd's business across all products, with a focus on UK and European markets, with some exposure to Northern America.
This is a highly visible role that will require regular presentations to senior stakeholders and participation in the reserve committee and boards. Opportunities will also be available to get involved in the ongoing reserving transformation project.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with extensive London / Lloyd's reserving experience. Prior experience managing a team and presenting to boards are highly sought-after skills for this role. Prior audit experience would also be beneficial.
This role will require the ability to work in the office 3 days a week and may involve some travel a few times a year. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary package, up to £160k.
