About the Role

As a Senior EMEA Consultant, you will play a key role within our consulting division, developing new business, driving innovation, and leading our EMEA consulting team. The successful candidate will contribute to growing the revenue of the CRU Consulting business, develop and deliver consulting projects, and provide intellectual leadership and support innovation, develop client relationships, and manage a team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development and Sales: Build and nurture client relationships, promote CRU consultancy services across EMEA and globally, leverage personal and internal leads to identify, pitch, and secure new projects, negotiate project contracts, ensure clear scope, timelines, and value for profitable and client-satisfying delivery, and present, follow up, and resolve client queries on projects.
  • Project and People Management: Lead projects as a "Project Director" or "Senior Advisor," defining research strategies, securing resources, and setting clear objectives, manage and mentor consultants, with a focus on performance development and appraisals, drive innovation by introducing new ideas for business growth within CRU Consulting, and contribute creative insights and develop original content related to the mining and metals industry.


Requirements

  • Proven project management experience, ideally across multiple locations and cultures, consulting experience preferred, intellectual leadership with deep expertise in metals, mining, and/or energy markets.
  • Exemplary work ethic and focus on exceeding client expectations with a commercial mindset, strong understanding of broader business objectives, and support for cross-organizational initiatives.
  • Experienced in leading teams and ensuring quality delivery.

CRU operates on a global basis, and the successful candidate must be willing to travel at least 10-20% working time with the potential of international travel.
