Job Title: Automation Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join our team at Primis. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated tests to validate mobile app functionality, performance, and compatibility across different devices and operating systems.
  • Identify, prioritize, and report software defects specific to mobile platforms, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand mobile app requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve mobile app testing strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in automated software testing, with a focus on mobile app testing.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for mobile app testing (e.g. React Native, Selenium).
  • Strong understanding of mobile app testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with manual testing of mobile applications on various devices and platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
  • ISTQB or similar certification is preferred.
