Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Care Assistants in maintaining the highest standards of care and promoting a culture of kindness and compassion.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of our residents.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to safeguarding and ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
