Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our Logistics Management Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the commercial aspects of our operations are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide commercial advice to local operational teams to ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and commercial obligations.
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in assessing complex works and claims, safeguarding Thames Water against claims over £1 million per annum.
- Deliver efficiency savings to Thames Water of £1 million per annum by identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with local operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programs.
- Hold a degree or similar in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Have experience of commercial responsibility over £3 million and resolving claims over £200K.
- Be able to engage at the local management level and provide commercial advice to operational teams.
- Have a full valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
- A competitive salary of up to £52,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills.
- 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service, plus bank holidays.
- A car allowance of £4,500 per year.
- A contributory pension scheme with a maximum employee contribution of 12%.
