Job Description

UCFB College of Football Business Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employability and Career Planning Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our students and ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Employability and Career Planning Services: Provide expert guidance and support to students to help them achieve their career goals and develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their chosen field.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other members of the department to ensure a seamless delivery of services and a consistent student experience.
  • Manage Student Caseloads: Manage an individual caseload of students requiring more specific or targeted support and provide guidance and advice to help them overcome any challenges they may be facing.
  • Develop and Maintain Resources: Contribute to the development and maintenance of departmental resources, including online and physical reference collections, to support student learning and development.
  • Represent the Department: Represent the department at internal committees and groups to promote the work of the department and ensure that the needs of students are represented.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience of working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of employability and career planning principles and practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the higher education sector and the challenges faced by students in achieving their career goals.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in a related field or a professional qualification in career guidance or a related field.
