Job Title: Engineering Account Manager

Reporting To: Regional Manager

Main Purpose:
As a key member of the Invictus Group team, you will be responsible for the profitable and operational management of a Pharmaceutical contract. Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful delivery of the contract, meeting both business and contractual objectives. You will lead a cohesive and cost-effective team, responsible for the service delivery of the contract. Your role will involve interfacing with clients to ensure satisfactory service delivery of the contract deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute account management plans, operational programmes, and PPM Planners to ensure the successful delivery of the contract.
  2. Lead a team of professionals to deliver the contract under your control, ensuring that project/minor works are completed on time, in budget, and to the required quality levels.
  3. Monitor and report on physical and financial progress, using key performance indicators to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Ensure that all works are completed to satisfactory quality levels, through regular audits and reviews.
  5. Manage staff on the account/contract delivery teams, ensuring that suitable staff are recruited, inducted, motivated, and trained to operate to company standards and processes.
  6. Understand contractual requirements and client expectations, ensuring that services are delivered to meet the contractual requirements and client expectations.
  7. Identify training needs for your teams and ensure the performance management of subordinates, implementing CPD where necessary.
  8. Manage appraisals and succession planning for staff within your teams.
  9. Monitor and report on contractual key performance indicators for operational performance and contractual compliance.
  10. Implement and manage a robust reporting and review process to provide visibility of all issues, risks, and performance for the contract under your control.
  11. Provide reports on contract performance and key issues affecting the overall service delivery.
  12. Assist in the mobilisation of new contracts to comply with agreed scope and performance.
  13. Ensure that contractual obligations are being met and the targeted commercial performance is achieved on contracts under your control.
  14. Monitor and report accurately on progress, budget, risks, and associated mitigation actions.
  15. Directly manage mobile/static teams, including directly employed operatives and subcontractors when required.
  16. Focus on management-level tasks and ensure effective delegation of tasks to subordinates.

Requirements:

  1. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and developments in operational and facilities management.
  2. Sound technical knowledge of facilities and building services.
  3. Demonstrate sound contract management capability and a proactive attitude.
  4. Excellent computer/IT skills and proven knowledge of CAFM systems.
  5. Measures performance of the team in areas of productivity, quality, and delivery for both internal and external customers.
