Job Title: Chief Systems Engineer

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Leonardo as a Chief Systems Engineer, playing a key role in shaping the company's Systems Engineering strategy and capabilities. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality systems engineering solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Systems Engineering governance and processes to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver complex systems engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs, developing and implementing solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Lead the development of engineering artefacts, including architectures, designs, and test plans, ensuring they are aligned with company processes and standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for Systems Engineering matters, providing expertise and guidance to teams and stakeholders.
  • Represent Leonardo in Systems Engineering bodies and groups, promoting the company's expertise and capabilities.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Chief Systems Engineer who can bring a strong technical background and leadership abilities to this role. You will have a proven track record of delivering complex systems engineering solutions, with experience in governance, leadership, and stakeholder management. You will be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and have a strong understanding of company processes and standards.
