CK Group is recruiting for a Test Technician to join an animal health pharmaceutical company. This role is based at the client's offices in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. The initial contract is for 3 months. Salary: From £14.00 to £24.00 per hour depending on experience, paid through PAYE. Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of new and existing physical consumer products, focusing on technology-driven, domestic products that monitor companion animal wellbeing.
  • Work within a team of Product Designers, Mechanical Engineers, and Electronic Engineers to test products in the workshop and lab, create test jigs, assemble prototypes, and report results.
  • Manage and maintain a range of modelmaking equipment, measurement and mechanical test equipment, and prototype PCBA assembly equipment to deliver efficient resources for product development.
Your Background:
  • Experience as a test or development technician for electro-mechanical products.
  • Working experience of physical consumer product development, such as modems, IT equipment, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment.
