About the Role

The Student Association Finance Officer will serve as the primary point of contact between the Student Association and London Business School Finance. This role is responsible for approving Student Association expenditures, liaising with Finance to ensure accurate AP and Credit Control, and setting up suppliers for the Student Association and verifying bank accounts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist advice and deliver excellent service to stakeholders, responding to requests and offering guidance.
  • Design and develop materials and policy guidance, under the supervision of senior colleagues, to support the provision of an efficient and effective business support service.
  • Independently collect, cleanse, and analyze data, making recommendations to support the department's decision-making process.
  • Collaborate across various functions, including AP, AR, FP&A, and Reporting, while supporting the AP team.
Requirements
  • Experience in credit control, sales ledger, and purchase ledger.
  • A results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable people skills, with the ability to work independently and resolve problems.
